HOW ARE THE TEAMS PICKED?
There are no evaluations or tryouts, all able players are welcome. Registered players are rostered to teams based on their age group. Returning players are usually put on team with previous years coach.

Families can indicate special requests on the registration form (to play with a specific friend, be assigned to a specific coach etc.)

NOTE: Special requests may result in a player being moved to a higher or lower division or a new team

SIBLING COORDINATION

Siblings can play and practice at the same locations & dates (Wednesdays at Glenmore for example) but would likely be at different times.

To coordinate this, siblings must be placed on the same team in the appropriate age division.

For example: an 11 year old on Falcons team in Div.4 (Peewee) & a 17 year old Falcons Team Div6. (Midget) would both practice on Wednesday's at the Glenmore Field - Saturday games would also be at the same field locations.

NOTE: Special requests to play with another player may result in a player being moved to a higher or lower division or a new team and could effect sibling coordination.

WHEN ARE PRACTICES AND GAMES?

Our Summer Program includes one practice on a weeknight (Tuesday or Wednesday), with games on Saturdays.

Our Summer Program operates at both the Glenmore and Acadia fields (Regular Season), and Shouldice Athletic Park (Playoff games only).

During July & August, there are no games during holiday weekends (Canada Day & Heritage Day long weekends).

In September, however, our playoff games take place on Labour Day long weekend.

HOW CAN I COACH OR VOLUNTEER?
Our football program supplies experienced, trained coaches and referees.
Parent volunteers are required to assist with player rotation. This is simple to do and a great way to get involved! If you can help with this- let your coach know, we appreciate it!

HOW ARE REFUNDS HANDLED?
Full league refunds are given on request prior to May 31. Partial refunds (original registration less $50 per child) are given on request from May 31st to June 17th.

No refunds are issued after June 17th.

Refund requests must be emailed to: info@cyffl.ca Please include your name, contact information and player name.
